Wintermute further delves into "Steam-Func"

As I start to round out "D.A.D.E.S." the concepts and "sound" of "Steam-Func" is materializing more and more.
In typical Wintermute fashion, what started out being two songs has wound up being at least 5-7 which makes me think there will be a "companion" CD to DADES. So far the still in the works song "Funk you and the Horse you Rode in On" has spilled into "White Horse", "Black Horse" (about 5 different versions of this one) and "Iron Horse" which fan wise seems to be the strongest of the group. The the three horse songs though in different keys, all around built around the same elements/phrases. "Iron Horse"--as in the original name for Trains conceptually fits into the concept of "D.A.D.E.S."--the human delimia of Machine Vs Slave, a point that will be more and more evident as we approach the "The Singularity" of Super Human A.I. and the like. These questions are both dealt with in the two literary elements that make up D.A.D.E.S.--"Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep" (1968) (aka "Bladerunner" 1983 ) by Philip K. Dick and "Rossum's Universal Robots" (1920) by Karel Čapek. In this way "D.A.D.E.S" asks, what is a machine and when does Artificial Intelligence become more than "a program". "Iron Horse" tries to show the Steam engine and eventually Train as the first true and widely known machine of "labor" It also draws parallels between "stupid machines" and smart ones like the Backing "Band" on "D.A.D.E.S" "R.U.R ("Robots!, Unite and Revolt!") . As a side note "D.A.D.E.S." is to be also a launch of the virtual robot Band "R.U.R."--if you are confused about the concept of a "virtual" band, think "Gorillaz"...
