A new Electronic Genre of Music: "Steam Func"

Steam Func in a nutshell: is cross between cyberpunk inspired techno and George Clinton/Bootsy/PFunk-like Funk--it could also be called "Dark Funk" As a side note, I use "func" instead of "funk" for two reasons. First in reference to a mathatical "function" e.g. Funct(Techno(funk)) = techfunc. Secondly, as one of the key factors of GC/PFunk or any Funk is live near musically "orgy" like performances, what i am makin is missing that element--in my mind this results in something less than Funk it results in Func--i don't want to be victim of Bootsy's "The Pinocchio Theory" ;) if you dont get this reference, look it up and be treated to a great Funk song :) Form wise: Steam Func should follow the general Funk structure of using Vamps and of course should "Be on the One". Outside of that you can do what you want techno wise, glitch, 303, etc. My recent song "Steam Func" uses two virtual "funkified" finger basses dueling with Func driven 303s all this over both funk drum lines and glitched industrial drums. Slowly these lines are "innercut" to one another. "Tech-no Func " was an early attempt at this concept. The upcoming Wintermute album "D.A.D.E.S." will feature this new style as it ebbs and flows over the 12 tracks. RUR is a construct of my mind that performs the backing Steam Func. "D.A.D.E.S." is a common abbr of P K Dicks "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" which inspired the film "Blade Runner".
